Visit Classes within CEHD
Our Class Shadow Experience provides an opportunity for prospective and admitted students to experience our academic environment by sitting in CEHD classes, either in-person or virtually. In shadowing a class, you will gain a firsthand glimpse into what it's like to be a student in our programs.
Please click this link to shadow a class. These experiences will be available Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. for either visit in the morning or afternoon.
You are welcome to shadow a course in more than one of our schools. You will need to fill out an additional form if you would like to shadow a course in another school. We encourage you to choose courses that pertain to your potential career(s) of interest. You can choose up to 2 courses on the day of your shadow. We cannot guarantee that the designated course will be available at the time you desire due to the volume of requests or testing dates; however, we will do our best to ensure you are offered the best opportunity available. Please note that we may be limited in our offerings due to class sizes and the volume of requests.
If you have any questions about this experience, please reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Bring a School/Program Group
The College of Education and Human Development is currently offering school and/or program groups the opportunity to visit our campus. We welcome middle school groups, high school groups, and community-based programs that correlate with our academic programs. The mission of our visit experience is to provide broader exposure to our fields of study, our program offerings, licensure processes, and Mason as whole, including our admissions process. We engage visitors in a variety of fun activities and campus tours. One of the core aspects of this experience is the opportunity to connect prospective students with our CEHD faculty actively engaged in their field of interest.
We are currently offering visits that relate to our:
- School of Education (Visits are called the Future Educator’s Visit Experience)
- School of Sport, Recreation, and Tourism Management
- School of Kinesiology
Our admissions staff can also visit you in your school or location, to talk about our offerings and host activities for your group.
If you are interested in this experience, please reach us at email@example.com. Our team will respond to your request within 5 business days and work with you to tailor a visit for your group.
