Sport Management Minor
Opportunities abound in the $490 billion sports industry, and a minor in sports management equips students with the skills needed to succeed in areas such as sales, marketing, public relations, operations, facilities, and event management.
The sport management minor course work prepares students in topics including sport marketing, finance, ethics, law, operations, event planning, management and leadership. Graduates of our program have gone on to work in media relations, marketing, sales, alumni development, management and coaching positions throughout the country, including with the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Washington Football Team, New York Knicks, D.C. United, United States Tennis Association, Duke University Athletics, UNC-Chapel Hill Athletics, Monumental Sports Entertainment, and more.
